FACULTY OF SOCIAL SCIENCE TRANSITIONING TO SOCIAL SCIENCES BEYOND HUMANS THROUGH INTUITIVE COMMUNICATION WITH ANIMALS The "Animal Communicators: Intuitive Communication as a Key to Dialogic Multispecies Methods" (ANICOM) project explores new frontiers in interspecies dialogue. Funded by an ERC Consolidator Grant, it addresses a crucial question in contemporary multispecies research: how can we move beyond human-centred social sciences to engage meaningfully with non-human animals? The project aims to include animals as full participants in research across four continents by exploring Intuitive Interspecies Communication to facilitate explicit, two-way exchanges with animals. It integrates indigenous and alternative knowledge systems with social and natural science approaches to create transdisciplinary innovations for a more sustainable relationship with the more-than-human. Cédric Audoan (anicom@uliege.be) FIND OUT MORE FACULTY OF ARCHITECTURE REBUILDING FOR SUSTAINABILITY: A CULTURAL REGENERATION PROJECT FOR EUROPE Supported by the European Commission (CREA-CULT2021-COOP), this project has highlighted the capabilities and limitations of pioneering sustainable transformation practices implemented by non-governmental cultural centres in the Trans Europe Halles network since the 1980s. The strategies through which these centres have invested in, rehabilitated and cared for abandoned industrial buildings and infrastructure across Europe now constitute a valuable reservoir of experimentation, offering alternative, non-extractive approaches rooted in communities, to adapt and regenerate our built and unbuilt environment in the face of future socioenvironmental challenges.
