FINDINGS AND STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES Like any organisation, the University can integrate sustainability into its management choices and thus contribute to the social and environmental transition. In doing so, it anticipates future challenges and strengthens its resilience. ULiège is already making significant efforts to make its actions more sustainable, particularly in the areas of energy, waste, green spaces and mobility, as well as in its diversity and inclusion policies. In line with its progress in research and teaching, it now aims to better clarify and formalise its objectives by tackling issues in a more integrated and coherent way. It intends to promote a genuine internal culture of sustainability. This means adopting an eco-responsible and ethical approach to all the institution’s operations, putting sobriety and ethics at the heart of its operational choices, making the transition everyone’s business and adopting a systemic approach that integrates these values into all aspects of university life.
