Publication of the University of Liège's 2024-2025 "Sustainability & Transition" report
This new report highlights not only the remarkable dynamism of the academic community, but also the significant progress made during the 2024-2025 academic year.
The transition to a sustainable future cannot be achieved alone. That's why the University of Liège is committed to networking, to inspiring and being inspired by those who share this vision.
Within the institution, many players in the field of sustainability and social and environmental transition are working hard to get things moving. These structures work in synergy to transform our campuses into models of sustainability, inspire members of the university community to get moving, and create spaces for sharing between researchers and citizens.
This ambition does not stop at campus borders. By collaborating with external partners, ULiège strengthens its ability to create positive emulation and move forward together towards common goals. These partners, whether companies, non-profit organizations or government bodies, bring fresh perspectives, complementary resources and enriching opportunities for collaboration. Together, we share knowledge, skills and innovations, accelerating our progress towards a sustainable transition.
This new report highlights not only the remarkable dynamism of the academic community, but also the significant progress made during the 2024-2025 academic year.
Aware of its responsibility to transmit knowledge and produce high-quality research for the benefit of society, ULiège thus reaffirms the key ethical principles to which it adheres.
The 3rd Climate Fortnight will take place from November 10 to 21, 2025, echoing COP 30 in Brazil, in the heart of the Amazon!
In the face of climate and societal challenges, ULiège is taking a major step forward by inaugurating its Transitions Laboratory: a place for ideas, collaboration and action to imagine and build a fairer, more sustainable future.
