Sustainability-dedicated and Sustainability-related courses

Sustainability and transition issues are addressed in numerous courses at the University of Liège, in all Faculties.

  • The courses dedicated to sustainability mainly and explicitly refer to sustainability and deal with the interdependence of ecological and social systems.
  • The many sustainability-related courses, on the other hand, are more focused on other main themes, but integrate sustainability-related concepts, issues and challenges.

In order to make this range of courses more visible, and to help students find the courses that meet their expectations in this area, these courses dedicated to or related to sustainability are identified by a specific pictogram in the course syllabus. This course mapping also encourages the development of learning content and the exchange of teaching experience between teachers.
