ULiège's university campuses (in particular those at Gembloux, Arlon and Sart Tilman) offer a wide variety of green spaces, located in urban areas and/or close to natural areas. By ensuring a balance between university activities and the preservation of valuable habitats for biodiversity, the sustainable management of green spaces enables ULiège to contribute to the fight against the decline in biodiversity and to the mitigation and anticipation of global warming.

ULiège also promotes biodiversity awareness and encourages the university community to adopt eco-friendly practices.
