Future Projects p.29 2.1 OVERVIEW The University of Liège plays a decisive role in raising awareness of the social and environmental transition by educating students about global and social challenges and developing their skills to address them. It adapts its teaching to these issues by transforming its teaching approaches, notably through the online course "Sustainability and Transition", which offers all students an interdisciplinary foundation for understanding and responding to current crises. This dynamic is reinforced by the introduction of actionbased courses (such as the second faculty credit or "Service Learning"), by training university staff in social and environmental challenges, and by the commitment of teachers specialising in these fields.
