Digital responsibility: ULiège commits itself

The societal responsibility of our Institution leads us to question our uses and behaviors, including in the digital domain. The institution is therefore committed to taking responsibility for its own footprint through the signing of the Responsible Digital Charter in 2022 and to carry out in-depth work to optimize the digital maturity of ULiège by proposing efficient tools, effective in the long term, usable and with the minimum possible footprint.

To this end, under the impetus of Pr Félix Scholtes, Advisor to the Rector for Digital Sobriety, our University has just joined ISIT - Institut Belge du Numérique Responsable, whose experience and resources will be put to good use in support of our Responsible Digital Working Group.

In addition to the institutional work, in terms of energy saving, the first gestures are already proposed to you. They are generally very easy to put in place in the professional context and can be reproduced in our daily lives.
