LIEGE CREATIVE: TRANSITION AND RELATIONSHIP WITH LIVING THINGS For its 14th season, the LIEGE CREATIVE Forum placed sustainability and ecological and social transition at the heart of its programme. The launch evening, centred on the theme "Rethinking our relationship with living things", set the tone for a cross-disciplinary reflection on the interactions between humans and living things (animals, plants, fungi), approached through various prisms such as social sciences, biology, agronomy and health ("One Health"). This theme was explored in greater depth during a conference-debate co-organised with Le Quinzième Jour, in connection with an article on biodiversity. Of the 50 conferences held during the season, 34 addressed sustainability issues in various sectors: energy, health, agriculture, digital technology, etc. Visibility tools were implemented, such as the addition of tags linked to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) on the website. True to its collaborative approach, LIEGE CREATIVE has partnered with several local initiatives such as the Nourrir Liège Festival, Réjouisciences and the Green Office. Finally, through its collective intelligence workshops, the forum has actively supported projects related to the transition, notably for ARES and IIS Valbowal. info@liegecreative.be FIND OUT MORE LUXEMBOURG CREATIVE AT THE SERVICE OF THE TRANSITION In line with the LIEGE CREATIVE initiative, the Forum of the Province of Luxembourg has carried out various actions over the past year in favour of a fair ecological and social transition. In particular, it welcomed historian Laurent Testot, alongside two young researchers working on the relationships between forests, climate and human societies. The Forum also collaborated with the "Assiettons-nous" programme to highlight Logan Penvern's research (Socio-ecology, Investigation and Deliberation, Department of Environmental Science and Management) on domestic gardening and food sovereignty. A highlight of the year, the first Interdisciplinary Forum on Risk Management brought together researchers and practitioners to discuss hydrological extremes. In 2025, an inter-campus meeting explored the relationships between humans and non-humans, attracting a large audience. Finally, a strategic partnership was launched to co-develop future programming focused on food security, a key theme for the coming academic year. FIND OUT MORE SOLIDARITY, WELL-BEING AND THE ENVIRONMENT: LA MAISON DES SCIENCES DE L’HOMME AT THE HEART OF SOCIETAL ISSUES La Maison des Sciences de l'Homme supports innovative initiatives for the circulation, mediation and formalisation of knowledge, such as the projects launched in the 20242025 call for projects "Open Sciences, Arts and Cultures". The projects focused on adolescent grief (through the medium of theatre), cultural heritage, health and adulthood, biodiversity and issues related to the traces of nuclear activities and human and non-human life. Fundamentally interdisciplinary, these projects have in common the fact that they forge links between university stakeholders and partners in the city.
