Heating valves management
The heating is controlled automatically at the ULiège. The valves must therefore remain set to position 3 if the valve is graduated up to 5 and to position 5 if the valve is graduated up to 9.

The use of electric radiators should be avoided in the ULiège. Indeed, this type of heating represents about 50% more CO2 emissions than conventional heating devices and costs about 3 times more.
Lighting accounts for about 25% of the total electricity consumption of the ULiège. It is therefore important to have the reflex to turn off the lights when leaving a room or when they are not needed.
Electrical appliances (computer, printer, chargers, coffee machine...) consume energy even when they are not in use. It is therefore advisable to turn them off at the end of the day or at least before the weekend and vacation periods.
Refrigerators, printers, coffee machines... Pooling electrical equipment reduces the institution's energy consumption.
